My "39 week" doctor's appointment went well yesterday. She was not nearly as concerned as I am about my swelling - just normal part of nearing the end. All measurements are right on. I am dilated to 1 and 60-70% effaced. She did think the baby is running out of room and this Friday morning I will go in for a non stress test and amniotic fluid check - just to be sure of the baby's well being etc - this is routine at full gestation. I will have another non stress test and fluid check Tuesday before my normal appointment. IF all is well at both of those AND I have not gone into labor on my own I will be induced early morning of October 10th!!! At least there IS an END in sight!!! I was glad both Seph and mom were able to make the appointment and learn all this straight from the doctor. NOW, hopefully my body figures out what it needs to do to get this BABY OUT! :) Mom is wishfully thinking by this weekend...I am not as convinced and neither is Seph nor my brother. They think I just haven't been MISERABLE long enough - thanks, GUYS!
