We (Seph) got all our decorations up the weekend before Thanksgiving!!! This felt so good to have it done so early. As you can see, Clark came by to help ;-) The extension cords throughout the yard aren't too attractive during the day, but he says they will be better next year...haha. And we love the deer his cousin's gave us last year; they are a hit in the neighborhood.
I had sort of forgotten I had gotten a pre-lit tree on sale after the holidays last year so that was a nice little surprise when we remembered that. It sure was EASY and NO PINE NEEDLES everywhere! YEAH!!! This same weekend we accomplished all of our Christmas shopping (well, there are just a few left that have come up since, but having the majority of it done sure is nice). They are even WRAPPED! :)
We just got our photos from the photographer so this weekends task is ordering birth announcements/holiday cards. Watch your mail, they'll be coming soon.....
