Productive Solo Weekend

Emily Jo has thankfully gone back to better sleep habits at night! She does still wake up twice a night (in 4-5 hour stints). I'm up with her for maybe 20-30 minutes to feed and she goes right back to sleep so I am not complaining too much after last week's experience of her NOT staying asleep! My thought and intention of eliminating the midnight feeding did not really occur during Seph's time home. After one successful night we had the next 4 fail and then Seph was gone again. So, we'll see if we'll try again this coming week or not....so many books and theories on this its unreal! I guess whatever works for us IS right! Enough about my obsession of SLEEP! ha!

While Seph is away in Texas hog hunting I have decided to get some things accomplished! Today Emily Jo and I went to Babies R Us to get a few things we needed and then to the grocery store. I got pictures in frames and made a "picture board" for Emily's room. I made my favorite three bean dip and got our storage area organized and labeled. Oh, and I organized all of Emily's clothes - I call it doing the "shuffle" from 0-3 to 3-6month clothes. It hit 70 today, but was terribly WINDY so I didn't get Emily out in it :( She's still hanging onto a cough. I did play with Roxi outside during Emily's TWO HOUR nap :) - that is THIRD time this week - sorry, I digress again about sleep!

Tomorrow I plan on tackling the dreaded task of going through MY clothes (hers are a lot more fun). I literally plan and HOPE to throw away HALF of what I have in totes - it is ridiculous to still have shirts and dresses from high school, right?! (I am putting this on the blog so I have to REPORT back) I have been dragging my feet on throwing away SO MANY things the time has come! After that task I have laundry, cleaning and Mary Kay to work....I am hoping to get a lot done and make it to a friend's super bowl party for some socializing.

Well, not much word from the hog hunters...just a brief call late last night. Seph stuck one but never found it - wonder IF he will bring home the bacon this year?!?!?
