Friends of ours graciously let us stay at their beautiful "getaway" home. It is an old church in the town of Cottonwood Falls, about an hour and a half from us, that they have redone into a 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home. The work is impeccable! We went there this past weekend just to chill out and have some good quality family time. My cousin, Alexa, from Emporia visited Saturday evening with her family. And then on Sunday we went to my other cousins, Kristi, son's baptism in Andover. I hope you enjoy the slideshow of our weekend away - it was just what we ALL needed! The little boy in the picture is 7 weeks old (and Emily is FOUR MONTHS)!!! :-)
We are looking forward to heading to Hays on Friday to hopefully watch Seph's cousin, Marshall, win the state wrestling championship on Saturday evening. It will be nice to see everyone, as it seems like its been a long time!
