Our friends kindly opened their boat up this last Saturday and we were actually in town to enjoy some lake time with friends! Thanks, Betsy and Travis! We had so much fun catching up with everyone and catching some rays! Check out the new slideshow to the right.
That night Emily Jo hung out with Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Jen while we attended a friend's wedding. A fun filled weekend for sure which lead to a very lazy Sunday around here!
Emily Jo has started these little night wakings which range anywhere from midnight to 5am and from a whimper, talking, or screaming and crying for just a few minutes up to an hour. Needless to say its not been fun having broken sleep again, but I am told "this too shall pass". Thankfully it isn't every night...YET!
She is oh so close to standing alone and my money is walking before her 11 month "birthday". Her and Roxi are best of friends and she loves to hand Roxi each and every one of her dog toys from the basket. She won't hand Roxi any of her toys which is great and Roxi doesn't mess with them. Now only if we could keep the dog toys out of Emily's mouth - haha!
