Bring on February

January was a long and trying month, but I think I am ready to tackle February. I pray sickness is behind us and I remain caught up on hours at work. I am so excited to finally start my NEW work schedule Monday thru Thursday 8:30 to 4:30. I think my boss and I have come to an understanding that with a more narrowed "focus work time" I will be more productive and better able to balance work and personal life. I couldn't be more lucky to have such a wonderful, understanding, flexible boss! Seriously, my situation is priceless and there is a reason after 7 years I am still with the same company! I couldn't be happier now that I have a recently expanded AND remodeled office that is now officially all organized!

This next week I plan to tackle the house and getting all its STUFF organized...from the storage room to clothes. Then, we will begin the transition of moving our TV room downstairs and converting our current TV / front room to a sitting room. It will be an adjustment, but will give Emily Jo more play area then she currently has upstairs. This project will entail some shopping so it may take some time to fully be together. We continue to have many projects on our list and Seph couldn't be more excited for Spring to get here so he can get out and landscape the yard - he's got plans all drawn up and knows exactly what he wants.

I can't wait for Spring because I think it will help Emily Jo's "reactive airway" aka: asthma. It remains controlled by Flovent inhaler which is a steroid. Now that she is fully over that nasty cold we will try taking her off that this week and see how she does. I am thankful we discovered a mask that goes on an inhaler spacer so we are able to do the treatments in a mater of minutes now! So much better than the nebulizer.

Emily Jo is growing up so fast! She is such a little turkey and her personality is strong (shocker, I know). We continue to get shining reports from her daycare provider and even at a temporary one we have had to use the last few weeks. We truly are blessed in that regard and so very thankful. The other night Emily was ready for her bath so she went in and climbed in the tub fully clothed (with no water of course) and when I walked in she looked at me like "come on mom, its TIME FOR A BATH, lets get it going" with her cheesy of cheesiest giggles.

Seph took her out of town this weekend for the first time, leaving me HOME ALONE and the opportunity for Nan to watch her yesterday. Seph helped his dad butcher a cow for us to all split (a great gift they give every year). Thanks Joni and Joey!!!!! I'm not sure where the weekend went, but it is quickly coming to an end. Have a great week!
