I am going to increase the font per a few requests so hopefully this helps ya out! Sorry this got a little long...so much to tell :)
Dad was suppose to arrive Friday morning by 10 am but that flight got cancelled so he didn't get in until 2 pm. I am just thankful he got to KC on Friday. Spending time with him is very precious and Emily Jo I know loved seeing him too. He brought her gifts, who doesn't like to get a gift from their grandparents!?!? Thank you!!! And a big THANK YOU to Jonathan and Jen for hosting their inaugural 2010 cookout - it was delicious! That baby Sydney is so special and full of personality - we love visiting and hope to see them more often! New pictures added to the Misc. May album!
And then, of course, we had the Bellerive Bash to attend. We arrived at camp just before lunch and Emily Jo was quick to join in the FUN running all around with her cousins, Nan, and the ever popular Pepere. She especially liked hanging out inside the tee pee. We had stayed up late every night, got up early every morning and didn't nap the best Saturday and Sunday so you can only imagine just what we were dealing with come Monday. I am not sure Emily Jo (or me for that matter) could have lasted another day as she would go towards our car saying "bye-bye", sucking her thumb, and laying her head on my shoulder as if she wanted to go to sleep (which NEVER happens)!!!! And this was at TEN in the morning. It took all of TWO MINUTES to crash out for THREE HOURS once I got her in her car seat. She was spent.
I am so very thankful we have decided to acquire a camper this year!!! It makes sleeping a little quieter (especially during the INEVITABLE storm in the middle of the night which has now occurred for 7 straight years for me) and the organizing much simpler (which makes me a happy "camper")! Its nothing fancy, but it has beds, cabinets, sink, stove, and lights and that is all I am asking (for now). Its a 1970 trailer camper. Joni and Joey got it from his parent's sometime in the 90's, I think and now we will give it some TLC and minor updating. Thank you to them for purchasing a bigger, better camper to open the opportunity up for us :) As you can tell from the pictures, we had a variety of weather - hot sun, wind, overnight storm, and some coolness too. All in all, great weather I thought.
Oh - and a quick funny story. Seph had warned me last week not to close the garage door (off the kitchen) when I run out and leave Emily in because she can lock the door. She proved this last night. YES, we were LOCKED OUT with Emily Jo INSIDE! THANKFULLY we had given a key to our neighbors and they were home!!! Whew - we now have house keys on our key chains! We kept talking to her trying to get her to UNlock the darn thing, but our attempt was not successful.

Sure looks like you all had fun--again, I am not sure you can ever go to one of those and not have any fun. Sure fun to see Emily Jo--all those kids are great. You will have to explain the Aunt K cake thing to me, looked messy !!! Certainly have a ton of kids there.
