So, here is a quick story to make you all laugh. Last night I sat Emily Jo on the potty (per her request) without success. I put her nighttime diaper on and pajamas. By the time we got done flossing and brushing she informed me she had "pee-peed" and to "change me". So I did. Then, we read a story and she crawled in bed. As I am closing the door, she informed me she had "pee-peed" again and requested to be changed. I tried to resist but then she got up and started to attempt it herself. I gave in and changed her.
I am not kidding you, 20 minutes later she called me in her room to "change me" AGAIN. I firmly said, "NO - that is what a diaper is for. I am not changing you EVERY time you pee throughout the night". She was not happy and I closed the door. Fifteen minutes of quiet is a little scary so Seph went to go check on her. She told him "mommy not nice". When he asked her "why" she said "she don't change me" with a super sad face. Seriously, kid - start peeing in the toilet and we won't have this problem!
