Where to begin?

Well, I'm scratching the website idea.  I'm just not ready to tackle that monster.  Not that its difficult; I'm sure its real simple.  I've just bombarded learning Mac's all around.  Building a website on iweb is the least of my concerns at the moment.  I'll stick to familiar territory until I feel adventurous again.  As I eluded to, my company has done a complete overhaul with our computer systems.  I am very happy with the decision and change, its just been a learning curve as with anything new.

Speaking of new - Emily Jo has started at a new daycare / preschool center.  Its not quite a "facility" and most definitely not an "in home" daycare.  It has been in existence for over 40 years and the director and 2 of the teachers there for over 20!  It is in a residential area (a home thats been converted to a "school" in fact).  Currently they have 3 classrooms and can grow up to 5 or 6 - economy has downsized them quite a bit.  They offer after school care as well.

Its just fantastic and even more important Emily Jo LOVES it.  Just this morning, she walked in and went and gave all her little friends hugs.  It was so sweet.  And some more exciting news is Emily Jo IS OFFICIALLY POTTY TRAINED!   She has had ZERO accidents since starting there 9 days ago and only 4 in the last 3 weeks - we are so proud!  A nice break between the two - yay!  Word of advice - avoid pull ups as that is the one thing that set Emily back.  They were required at her other daycare and she quickly learned it wasn't a big deal to just pee in them and then get changed.  Money out the window if you ask me!  When they are ready, they WILL do it!

As you can see, we've been busy with work and then dealing with Emily's transition.  The week between her daycare and new school she went to what we referred to as "Aunt Cole Boot Camp" for some "behavior modification training".  Come to find out she didn't need it!  Environment is everything when it comes to a child's behavior and we have a totally different child in our house.  Yippy!  Thanks, Aunt Cole - we owe ya!  Of course, we missed our girl tremendously but at the same time the 4 days went FAST :)

We are super excited to have Mom and Dad back in the states - its been SIX MONTHS!  They arrive on Friday until March 14th - lots of fun memories ahead!
