From One Extreme to Another

So as this album shows, we had an AWESOME getaway to Big Cedar Lodge in Branson this last weekend.  The weather could not have been more perfect and the memories are priceless. We did a whole lot of relaxing and fun activities enjoying being together!
Of course, when we woke up the first morning (3-11-11) I had to regretfully wake my parents up knowing they would want to know what had happened in Japan.  Just devastating.  Please keep them in your prayers as they are in flight to Tokyo as I type tonight.  I hope I can sleep - they are due in at 2:30am.  I am not worried about their flight, but rather how long they could be stranded at the airport!!!  The railway system is operating sporadic at best.
Yes, I do know it seems silly for them to fly into the situation that sounds so miserable.  However, my dad needed to get back for work - "the business world continues..." - and my mom couldn't let him experience the adventure alone.  They are both anxious to see what their place looks like, which has been described as a "disaster" by their housekeeper.  Plus, they couldn't just leave Ralphie in the kennel!!!  Mom might be on her way back sooner than we thought...stay tuned.
