Well, well - I see I've got the traffic built back up on my blog! Yah! Thanks for reading :)
A funny story from our Memorial Day Weekend camping for four nights:
Audrey was sound asleep for an hour or more when Seph put Emily in the camper to bed. A short while later we found her INSIDE Audrey's pack-n-play with formula EVERYWHERE and Audrey half undressed. They both seemed happy and were all smiles. However, mom and dad were NOT amused. Emily Jo was just trying to give her little sister a bottle and Audrey had undressed herself (this out of the mouth of a 3 and a half year old).....NEVER a DULL MOMENT! Needless to say, Emily spent most of the next morning watching her cousins play from the window of the camper.
The wind blew and blew and blew from Thursday night until about 10pm Sunday night in true western Kansas fashion. Literally anywhere from 25 to 40mph CONSTANT. It can wear a person OUT! We had some excitement as well with 75mph dust storm, hail, and tornado warnings. Obviously, a lot of time was spent inside Joni and Joey's BIG double slide camper just hanging out. Although, Sunday night quite a few finally felt so inclined to enjoy the fire late into the night; making for a LONG day on Monday - packing up and heading home after a quick boat ride (the water was too rough all weekend until monday).
See the previous posting for a link to the pictures. Let me know if you have any trouble with them!
