Therapy dilemma resolved.

We actually did not need to change therapist at all.  We have worked it out with her original therapist to see her on Fridays and after further discussion Audrey's pediatrician and myself are more confident than ever Becca is the right fit for Audrey's needs.  Eventhough she has the title of "occupational therapist" at this age physical therapy is very much an overlap and Becca has plenty of resources available to her (through CCVI - Children's Center for the Visually Impaired)  to fill any void for recommendations etc.  So that is all good and worked out.

I am thrilled with the progress we are seeing and can't get over how EACH and every "milestone" is truly important in a child's development.  Our focus this week is getting her to take blocks out and in a box as well as encouraging her to PUSH off with her left leg as it does tend to just drag but only when she is in motion.  In other words, she moves that leg fine and jumps/bounces on it, but during crawling it is only her right leg that does the scooching.

Emily Jo is just wonderful "helping" with her therapy and is very encouraging and excited when she does something new.  Speaking of new, Audrey is completely on solid foods and boy oh boy am I ever different with the second child!!!  French fries, chocolate milk, pizza, funnel cake - haha.  Bottles are all packed back up - ask Emily Jo and she says we'll use them again for the baby boy in my stomach - and NO I AM NOT PREGNANT, that is just a 3 and a half year old dreaming.....

Oh - I posted the full picture album of the party in the post below this one.

CHEERS to enjoying more a FUN summer!
