Seriously I am DONE with the doctors! I think I have been every week for 6 weeks now (or in the hospital that one week)!
I am also ready for a GOOD uninterrupted nights sleep! My body is not prepared to jump out of bed for a baby that is coughing and choking 6+ times a night. That's what the last three nights have been. I knew they said pertussis doesn't regress and so I wondered about croup on top of the whooping cough. So Audrey got a steroid shot today. Hope it kicks in soon! The doctor said if it doesn't improve or she gets any worse well be looking at another trip to Children's Mercy....I'm hopeful we won't go that route! The frustrating thing is she is FINE except when she is having a cough attack...no fever or anything!
