Running for a Reason

Wow!  I had no idea what I was getting myself into in February when I set my goals to make me a runner while also raising money for two worthy organizations!  I have been following a tried an true half marathon training program and have only missed one run.  Not bad considering how busy life can get.

Seph used to give me a hard time to find a passion or hobby because as you all know he has PLENTY!  Well, he got his wish and although I won't always be training for a half and running the distances I have been I definitely see myself keeping up the runs!

Thank you for the overwhelming support from family and friends!  Every time I don't feel like going on my scheduled run (which can happen) I think of each dollar I have raised and the bracelet on my arm and my Toodle Bug who will most likely always struggle on some level with balance and stability.  And it's those things that force my feet to hit the pavement again!
