We had another annual Butters family gathering at Big Cedar this year. The weather was decent until Saturday night into Sunday morning. Bo and Cyndi decided to try and beat the wicked winter storm and headed home that night. It was a white knuckle drive for them but they finally made it. Seph and I opted to wait it out and ended up staying with Mom and Dad until Monday. It was a fun bonus day with mom and dad ;). Jonathan and Jen didn't have that option and had to head home on Sunday morning. Once out of the hills the roads improved. It was a ice, sleet then snow kind of storm. The hilly roads on the grounds were a bit tricky to get around on but the shuttle drivers made it work and the four of us who stayed an extra day enjoyed a night at the bar and grill!
All in all it was another memorable trip. The cousin kiddos created awesome memories with the most fun being had at the pool and hot tub. We had some delicious meals in the cabin and an all around low key vacation. Thanks Sass and Oompah for another trip of memories as a family. We are all blessed!
