What a special treat to be the first to visit my parents in their new "forever" home in Naples, FL! It was only for four short days, but it couldn't have been more relaxing and enjoyable! We did a lot of Rook playing. The girls did TONS of swimming. Seph and Dad golfed TWICE! And we even had Jack and Deb's girls babysit so the six of us could go check out the dog tracks - LOL - now we can check that off our list!
This was Audrey's first time EVER flying and Emily Jo's third time flying. Although she was under the age of two when she flew before so it was in many ways like her first time flying. They both did great and loved the "awe" of the airport, security, people etc. Even though we had to wake up at 4am neither of them slept on the plane. Not a wink....well, maybe Emily Jo on the way home for like 20 - minutes. But not Audrey. She required to sit by me and demanded we color, write, look at pictures, search for letting etc. It was sweet, but tiring on this Momma. I AM thankful she was at least HAPPY :)!
Oh - and we discovered just how much the first enjoy playing games. Go Fish was a huge hit waiting in Atlanta for our plane! Oh - and it was Roxi's first time flying! LOL - it was only a little bit more than boarding her and after all we were going to Ralph's home - it was only fair!
