Emily Jo is 6 MONTHS OLD!

I can't believe our little girl is already 6 months old! Where has the time gone?!? She had her Dr. appointment today and she is in the 75% for weight and 25% for height (wonder where she gets THAT from)? HA! 17lbs and 25" long now!

Emily Jo continues to amaze us every day with a new sound, a new move, a new look - boy can she give you some "eyes". She continues to thoroughly enjoy getting her diaper changed and is VERY easy to smile if you so much as look at her! She is rolling over (both ways), sitting up, and LOVES to watch and pet Roxi - who enjoys the attention. Sometimes I wonder if they understand each other! Some of her other favorites:
- ABC's
- So big game
- Peek a boo
- Eye winker
- Riding in the stroller
- Anything on TV
- Any time you sing "rock chalk jayhawk" she GRINS SO BIG! HAHA!
- Jumping higher and higher in the Johnny Jump Up!
Emily WAS sleeping 12 hours uninterupted, but these last 2 weekends have thrown her schedule off and its been a bit touch and go in that department lately. She is eating veggies and cereals two times a day now and one formula bottle in the evenings. Of course, she is still nursing - that isn't all I give her ;-)

We have been blessed with a healthy child! She has never ran a fever (knock on wood). A little stuffy nose here and there, but I'll take that over anything.
