One word to describe this past weekend: FUN! Seph, Emily Jo and I left after work on Thursday for Jersey City, NJ; we returned Monday around noon. It may have been a short vacation, but it was full of FUN!!! My parent's house is literally less than a quarter mile from hole 14 of Liberty National golf course which hosted the Barclay's FedEx PGA tournament. The entire experience was WAY MORE than I had imagined and both MOM and ME got "into" golf. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience - Seph and my dad went all day every day with an hour break here and there to share the VIP passes with us. However, on Sunday mom and I broke down and got our own tickets and even took Emily with us! We "camped" at hole 5 and watched several groups, including Tiger and YE Yang.
It was awfully convenient to be so close to home and the entrance to the course. Not many people can watch the tee off at hole 13, walk home, get a beer, turn the TV on in time to watch the putt and the remaining nail biting finish to an awesome tournament :)The crowd just was ridiculous as Tiger approached the club house. Much better seats at home on the couch with a cold one! HA!

And, Emily Jo did just fine on the plane; just BUSY being miss nosey - its a good thing she is so darn cute! lol

WE had a GRAND time too !!! Still smiling about it. Could not have picked a more PERFECT way to end the 'summer month'. So much fun having Emily at MY HOUSE !!!
