Happy New Year

Happy New Year!
As we enter 2010 our family is preparing for the Lord to take Memere Great into the heavens above. Seph's Memere (his dad's mom) fell out of her wheelchair and had a partial hip replacement on December 26th. Since then she has refused to eat or drink and her wishes are being followed. It is only a matter of time. Please keep her husband, Joe, children, and grandchildren in your prayers.
The last two weeks have been full of family memories...see the new slideshows for all the happenings. In addition to all the good times, we have also been struggling with an escalating "night cough" with Emily Jo for the last several months. We have stayed on top of it and tried all the home remedies from the doctor's office to the old wive's tails...elevate the bed, humidifier, honey, benadryl, mucinex, vapor rub, steamed rooms, blah blah blah. Well, finally today she was diagnosed with Reactive Airway - which is pretty much a cousin to asthma and one she will hopefully out grow. But, for now she is on a steroid for two weeks as well as albuteral inhaler as needed for coughing. So wish us luck on an DEcreased number of sleepless/coughing nights!!! Tonight we have a sitter lined up and we are going to enjoy some "adult" time with my parent's at the Argosy! :)
