Wow! It is already January 15th and I am just now starting to take a breath from the holidays and start the new year that is upon us! The last three or four weeks really have been a whirlwind. Don't get me wrong, we treasure the times we have with our families and appreciate each of you. Sometimes its just nice to stop and be home.
Emily Jo has been a trooper with all the traveling and visiting. However, on Monday night she HIT HER WALL! My family had attempted one last dinner out before my parent's move to Tokyo. Lets just say we ended up changing the order to a to-go order and enjoyed the grub in the comfort of our house. When we entered the house you could just SEE Emily light up and relax with a HUGE smile on her face as she took off to play with all her toys at her leisure! What a relief she felt.
Among all the hustle and bustle we have started breathing treatments/nebulizer twice a day for Emily Jo. This really is more like a 30 minute wrestling match for us, but occasionally she does cooperate and it only takes 10 minutes. Tomorrow will be the end of the two week steroid cycle. I pray, pray, pray that we can eliminate these twice a day treatments to an as needed basis (during congestion etc). However, if the night coughs start again you can bet your bottom dollar the treatments will begin again! :) Sleep is precious.
So, HERE is a to a NEW YEAR!!!...HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!
Pictures soon, folks. Your continued patience is appreciated :)
