We've been having SO much FUN outside! We are so lucky to have such a great neighborhood full of kids who love to be outside. They tend to migrate to our yard which is fine by us! That is really all we did all weekend is PLAY. Well, Emily Jo and I anyway ;-) Luckily she was over her little stomach bug from Thursday and Friday by Saturday so we were good to go! We did have to miss our friend's 1st Birthday party though because Emily Jo hadn't been vomit free for the recommended 24hours and we would have felt TERRIBLE to get any other tiny ones sick.
Seph was HARD at work making new landscaping beds along the side of the house, the fence line, the mailbox and the corner of our yard. I mean, he did A LOT of digging up grass - all by hand - which in turn has made for a sore body :( Poor fella! The front of our house looks GREAT, babe - THANK YOU!!! Now, we just have to wait a few years for it all to fill in. I think we are prepared to stay around for it. Oh yeah, and we are super excited to have our own garden in the back too! Did I mention Seph has worked a TON this last week???!!! I did help some (watering, mulching a little, but mostly just chasing and playing with Emily Jo and the neighborhood kids) :)

Glad you were able to enjoy outside this weekend. I love having the neighbor kids over too. It's a great distraction for mine. Keeps them out of my hair for an hour or two anyway.
I love the landscaping. Looks like Seph has worked hard at that. You will so enjoy that garden. ME TOO, I am thinking of the tomatoes that will come UP!! Tell Seph good job!! Love the picture of Emily on the opening page.
