Mom's Visit

We have had so much fun these last few weeks with mom in town! From the arrival of our niece, Sydney Jane to a baby shower for a cousin and many visits with family and friends...and our fair share of errands. Its been hectic with a lot of running around and very little time to relax, but the memories make the tiredness worth it! We certainly have accomplished A LOT of "things" on both our "lists". Unfortunately the ONE thing we haven't done is capture a picture of US together - somebody needs to learn to take the camera from me and snap some shots! Mom begins her journey across the lake on Wednesday morning. We will all miss her! But I know she is ready to get out of a suitcase and back home to dad. I don't know how she "GO's" as much as she does!

Emily Jo is quickly developing an extensive vocabulary. She is full of "no, no, no, no's" and "wa-wa" for water. "Ra-ra" for Roxi and numerous other words she attempts oh so hard at saying. ANYthing is fair game for repeating. She continues to push her limits and gets a kick out of getting mommy and daddy a little frustrated by not listening to us. So, all in all she is living up to her 18-month old status! HA!
