Bellerive FUN

The last two weekends have been full of FUN!  Last Friday Emily Jo and I went to Emporia to spend the night with Alexa.  Emily Jo had a BLAST hanging out with Alison, Madelynne and Jeff (they were suppose to be upstairs while the girls had a thirty one party downstairs).  Luckily, it was a small and casual party - ha!  You won't believe this either, I FORGOT the camera - hopefully Lex will get me a few she shot of the fun.
Then, Saturday we were up and at it early to make it to the Great Wolf Lodge for some swimming FUN with Taiylor, Hailey, Shawna and Dick and Joni and Joey!  Emily Jo was not so gung-ho on the water-slides as she was last year.  I guess she is developing a sense of fear (finally).  Later that day, we all headed out to the Argosy for a big group dinner.  It was nice to all be together - and then send the kids to the room - with a few of us - while the others had some FUN - or not so much :p  Then on Sunday I got to throw my dear friend, Allison a baby shower.  I created my first diaper cake and it turned out great.  I enjoyed hosting all the ladies!
Tonight we just returned from Stockton where Seph enjoyed opening pheasant hunting season.  I even got my first "deer hunt" in.  I am a bit disappointed I only got one hunt in but I will admit that one was eventful enough!  I saw twenty plus deer (never more than 5 minutes without one in sight).  I even got to shoot at a small buck.  Lets just say, buck fever is REAL and I experienced it - no buck to show - it is not much fun and very nerving!  Emily Jo LOVED playing with Will and Parker and Nan!  We had lots of "down" time Saturday and found plenty to keep the kids busy - they all were really really good.  The big news to note is Emily Jo has discovered WHY?!?!?!  OH MY!!!
We look forward to a weekend home next week and I know Seph intends to FINISH the deck!  He has gotten about half of it done and it is much bigger than we really visualized.  Oh well.  I do wish we can some day screen it in, but I don't know if it will....

Sounds like you have been busy having fun. Sure does look like Emily Jo loved being with her boy cousins. That is awesome.
