Easter Celebration and a bit more

It was a lovely Easter celebration in Sedgwick this year.  Joni and Joey picked up Will and Parker Friday afternoon in Hays so they could go to the zoo with us on Saturday.  Just the 8 of us (Joni, Joey, Will, Parker, Seph, Emily Jo, Audrey and me).  That was Nan's special Easter treat for the younger kiddos.  The kids had a blast and the grown ups did too!

The Atwill's were actually in Stockton to see Dick's family that were in town but came back to Sedgwick Saturday evening, along with Shaun and Nicole!  The cousins ran around and had a blast playing outside in the gorgeous weather.  We dyed eggs, hid eggs, and shared some great laughs.

Then on Sunday, we settled on a Mass time that was convenient with our flow of the day (I've been working on "going with the flow" a little bit more these days).  It's a bit challenging at times, but overall I'm doing alright at it (I think).  Ha!  Then we shared in a big feast prepared by Joey - yum!

Emily Jo is now an official two wheel bike rider and is cruising up and down the street super fast!  Thinks she's hot stuff!  Audrey enjoys screaming and whining mostly - oh whoops - I'm not suppose to say that am I?  Well, its true and she is definitely testing our patience and I'm 'over' the age of three.... But she does continue to improve with speech therapy and enjoys books and the color blue remains an obsession!!

As many know we have been on the hunt for a new home since about October.  We have seen roughly 20 homes at this point and have really narrowed our focus to Spring Hill / Edgerton / or De Soto and a strict budget of course!  We definitely know we don't want in the larger school districts of Olathe or Shawnee Mission!  We want acreage and a shop for Seph!  Aside from that you wouldn't think it would be as difficult as it has been to find "that home".  Every showing is a possibility.  But I remain a believer that everything happens for a reason.  Stick to it and we will find it.

As for this weekend - nothing but house chores - garage clean out, get yard ready for spring!

We wish you all well!
