Lake Martin AND Trapper and Shane's Wedding!

The girls had an absolute blast together at Lake Martin.  It was Emily Jo's second trip down there and Audrey's first.  They both adjusted to lake life with ease and were jumping off the dock, going on boat rides and enjoying porch time with the best of them!  Audrey and Diney had a nice "swim lesson" session where she made a lot of improvement with leaning back into the water and floating etc.

Audrey tubed with Seph and loved every single minute.  Even let go and raised her hands up!  The video we captured is too cute!  Emily Jo tubed with her new found friend and mentor at the lake - Hayley.  Actually all of the girls created quick friendships with no problem!  Sydney, Stella, Emily Jo, Audrey, Hayley and Addison.  It was super cool to watch them click just as Alexa, Angel and I always did even after two years of not seeing each other.  Super special!  I do wish Alexa's girls would have been able to make the trip but it just didn't work for them to come for the wedding.  Alexa came solo - which was also nice....for her anyway :)




Trapper and Shane's wedding was everything it was built up to be.  I never ever thought I would be going to a gay wedding - let alone TRAPPERS!  I mean after all, he was my first love, crush etc at the very young age of 11!  OK - enough about me - more about them and their beautiful marriage.  They are truly meant to be.  There was a torrential downpour right before and during their ceremony. Immediately following it cleared up and there was the most amazing RAINBOW over the lake.  It says it all.  In one picture.

And as for the rest of the road tripping for the girls it all went great.  We had zero traffic, car issues and the timing was great.  We were able to caravan half the way with Jonathan and Jen so stayed one night in a hotel with them.  The first squeezed in one more dip together!
